Hilda Bonilla is an attorney at Grossman Young & Hammond whose practice focuses on representing immigrants across a wide range of U.S. immigration matters, including removal defense, asylum, family-based petitions, and humanitarian relief. She is committed to providing zealous, client-centered representation to individuals and familiar navigating the complexities of the immigration system.
Before joining the firm, Hilda gained significant experience at the National Immigration Law Center, where she focused on advancing and defending immigrants’ rights through impact litigation and policy advocacy at the federal and state levels. Prior to law school, she deepened her expertise in the immigration field through roles at the American Immigration Council and the National Immigration Project, two of the nation’s leading organizations dedicated to immigrants’ rights. During law school, she served as a student attorney at the Immigration Justice Clinic, where she represented clients in removal proceedings before the immigration courts.
She is fluent in Spanish and serves many of her clients in their native language.
