Attorney Valerie Mahoney’s practice focuses on a variety of immigration matters encompassing both employment-based and family-based cases. She possesses experience managing cases in various industries, such as pharmaceuticals, technology, financial services, hospitality, and real estate, among others.
Prior to becoming a part of our firm, Valerie held the position of Legal Writer at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP. In this role, she adeptly crafted complex responses to USCIS requests for evidence. Additionally, she handled various immigration matters, including the preparation of L-1 intra-company transferee visas, Blanket L petitions, immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for individuals with “extraordinary ability” and “outstanding researcher” status, as well as E-2 Treaty Investor petitions.
During law school, Valerie served as President of the Animal Law Society for consecutive years and has continued her passion for animal-related law by presenting on the topic of estate planning for pet owners to various organizations. During her downtime, Valerie dedicates herself to tending to an assortment of animals on her farm located in Pittsburgh, PA.
