Juliana Carvajal Yepes is an Attorney at Grossman Young & Hammond, where she advises corporate and individual clients on a wide range of employment-based and family-based immigration matters. Her practice includes counseling employers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and families on immigration strategies and navigating matters before U.S. immigration agencies.
Born and raised in Colombia, Juliana maintains close ties to Latin America and has a particular interest in helping Latin American businesses, investors, and professionals pursue opportunities in the United States.
Before joining the firm, Juliana was a Staff Attorney at a non-profit organization, representing immigrants’ survivors of domestic violence with their immigration and family law legal matters. During law school, Juliana served as the Media and Communications Chief Editor of the Human Rights Brief and was a Student Attorney in the International Human Rights Clinic where she represented clients in immigration matters and contributed to advocacy efforts before international organizations.
In addition to her immigration practice, Juliana has a strong interest in international law and policy. Her writing has addressed topics including human rights, business and human rights, environmental law, and international arbitration.
